CUSTOM JACKETS & TECHNICAL OUTERWEAR

Technical Outerwear Built Around Protection, Comfort and Function

We develop and manufacture windbreakers, softshell jackets, technical shells and other performance outerwear for apparel and outdoor brands. Each style is developed around its intended environment, combining fabric systems, construction, functional details and finishing requirements.

DESIGNED FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

01

A Technical Jacket Starts With What It Needs to Protect Against

Outerwear development begins with the conditions the garment is expected to face. Wind, rain, temperature, activity level and intended use all influence the way the jacket should be built.

During development, we review protection level, garment weight, mobility, layering needs and functional details before the style moves into sampling. A lightweight windbreaker, softshell jacket and waterproof shell require very different construction decisions even when the overall silhouette looks similar.

The goal is to build the garment around its actual use rather than adding technical features after the design has already been finalized.

Weather Protection

Wind resistance, water resistance and overall coverage are considered according to the intended use of the jacket, from lightweight everyday protection to more technical outdoor applications.

Mobility & Layering

Shoulder shape, sleeve construction, body ease and layering room are developed together so the jacket can provide protection without unnecessarily restricting movement.

Functional Design

Hoods, cuffs, pockets, ventilation areas and hem adjustment systems are reviewed as part of the product architecture rather than added as isolated details.

TECHNICAL MATERIAL SYSTEMS

02

Outerwear Performance Comes From the Whole Fabric System

A technical jacket is rarely defined by one fabric alone. Shell material, membrane or coating, lining, insulation and supporting trims can all influence protection, breathability, weight and comfort.

Depending on the product, we can work with coated fabrics, laminated materials, softshell constructions and other functional woven fabrics. Material choices are reviewed together with the intended performance and construction rather than selected only by appearance or weight.

For more technical styles, the compatibility between fabric, bonding, seam sealing and hardware is considered before bulk production.

Shell Fabrics

Lightweight woven, coated and technical shell fabrics can be selected according to the required balance of wind resistance, water protection, durability and garment weight.

Laminated & Bonded Materials

Multi-layer and bonded fabric systems can provide additional structure or performance where the garment requires more technical protection and cleaner construction.

Lining & Insulation

Mesh, woven lining and insulation options can be selected according to season, warmth, breathability and the intended wearing environment.

TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION

03

Protection Depends on How the Jacket Is Put Together

Technical materials only perform properly when the garment construction supports them. Seam sealing, bonding, zipper installation, hood construction and panel design all influence how well the finished jacket performs.

Our production capabilities include seam sealing, bonding and other technical finishing processes for selected outerwear designs. These processes are reviewed during sampling so fabric, seam construction and functional details can work together as one system.

Keeping key technical processes closely managed also helps us maintain better consistency between the approved sample and bulk production.

Seam Sealing

Seam tape can be applied to selected stitched areas to help protect needle holes and support the intended water-resistance level of technical outerwear.

Bonding

Bonding can be used for selected panels, pockets, edges and technical details where a flatter construction, reduced seam bulk or cleaner appearance is required.

Functional Hardware

Zippers, waterproof zipper options, cord locks, adjusters, snaps and other hardware are selected according to the garment structure and intended level of functionality.
