FIT & SILHOUETTE

01

A Better T-Shirt Starts With Better Proportions

A T-shirt may appear simple, but shoulder width, chest volume, body length, sleeve shape and neckline all influence the final silhouette.

During sampling, these proportions are developed together according to the intended fit. A regular everyday T-shirt, a relaxed lifestyle tee and a structured oversized style should not rely on the same pattern with only a few measurements changed.

The goal is to create a silhouette that feels intentional before fabric, print and finishing are added.

Shoulder & Body Shape

Shoulder width, chest volume and body length work together to define the overall silhouette. These proportions can be adjusted for regular, relaxed, boxy or oversized fits according to the intended product.

Sleeve Proportion

Sleeve length, width and opening can significantly change the visual balance of a T-shirt. These details are developed together with the shoulder and body shape rather than treated as separate measurements.

Neckline & Collar Shape

Collar width, rib structure and neckline shape affect both appearance and long-term wear. The neckline is developed around the fabric weight, garment fit and intended look of the finished product.

FABRIC & GSM

02

Fabric Weight Changes the Way a T-Shirt Looks and Feels

The same T-shirt pattern can feel completely different when made in a lightweight jersey or a dense heavyweight cotton fabric.

GSM, fiber composition, yarn quality, knit structure and finishing all influence drape, softness, structure and durability. We work with different cotton and blended fabrics according to the intended product, from softer everyday basics to heavier streetwear silhouettes.

Fabric and pattern are considered together because changes in weight and structure can alter the way the finished garment hangs on the body.

Cotton & Cotton Blends

Different cotton yarns and blends can create different levels of softness, structure and durability. Fabric selection is based on the intended hand feel, appearance and price position of the product.

Lightweight to Heavyweight GSM

Lower-GSM fabrics provide a lighter and softer wearing experience, while heavier fabrics create more structure and visual weight for premium or oversized styles.

Surface & Hand Feel

Combing, washing and other finishing treatments can change the smoothness, softness and surface character of the fabric, helping the finished garment achieve a more specific brand look.

PRINTING & GARMENT FINISHING

03

The Blank T-Shirt Is Only the Starting Point

Printing, embroidery, washing and garment finishing can transform a basic T-shirt into a product with a much stronger brand identity.

Depending on the artwork, fabric and intended appearance, we can coordinate screen printing, digital printing, heat transfer, embroidery and selected specialty effects. Garment washing and vintage finishing can also be used where a softer hand feel, faded appearance or more lived-in character is required.

These processes are reviewed together with the base garment so the artwork, fabric and finishing work as one product rather than as separate steps.

Screen & Digital Printing

Printing methods can be selected according to artwork detail, color requirements, fabric and order quantity. Placement, scale and print feel are reviewed before production to suit the intended garment.

Garment Wash & Vintage Effects

Garment washing, fading and selected vintage treatments can soften the fabric and create a more worn-in appearance. The effect is developed around the base fabric and construction to achieve a controlled result.

Embroidery & Brand Details

Embroidery, patches, woven labels, care labels, hang tags and other brand elements can be coordinated with the garment to create a more complete private-label product.

DETAILS THAT MATTER

04

Simple Garments Leave Less Room to Hide Poor Details

A T-shirt has fewer components than many other garments, which makes small differences in construction easier to notice. Collar recovery, stitching, seam alignment, shrinkage and finishing all contribute to how the product looks after repeated wear.

Collar & Rib Recovery

Suitable rib structure and elasticity help the neckline maintain its shape rather than becoming loose or distorted after repeated wear and washing.

Stitching Consistency

Even stitch density, clean seam alignment and controlled topstitching contribute to a more refined appearance across the finished garment.

Shoulder & Neck Reinforcement

Selected styles can use shoulder tape, neck binding or other reinforcement methods to help stabilize areas that experience repeated pulling and wear.

Shrinkage Control

Fabric behavior is considered during development so expected dimensional changes after washing can be evaluated before bulk production where required.

Print Placement

Artwork position and scale are reviewed against garment measurements so printing remains visually balanced across the intended size range.
